Terms and Conditions
Reservations & Deposits – A 50% reservation
deposit is required within 7 days of making a reservation.
Final payment is due 90 days prior to scheduled arrival date.
Confirmation Documents – Confirmation documents
are normally mailed 21 days prior to arrival. These documents
will not be released until full payment is received.
Cancellations and Refunds – All
reservation payments are non-refundable unless we can re-rent
the same property for the same period of time. Reservations
that are re-rented are subject to a $100.00 fee. Reservations
may be re-scheduled (Same property and number of nights) up
to 60 days prior to scheduled arrival date subject to a $100.00
re-scheduling fee.
Proof of Citizenship – To enter Mexico, you
must have proof of Citizenship (valid passport or an original
or certified copy of a birth certificate). A photo ID may
be required with a birth certificate. All U.S. citizens must
also carry a Mexican Tourist Card which is supplied by the
carrier. Mexican law requires that children under 18 years
of age must travel with the consent of both parents. If a minor
is traveling with only one parent, that parent must hold a
notarized letter of consent from the absent legal parent or
a copy of the death certificate is necessary. Failure to comply
will result in denied boarding. Non-U.S. Citizens should contact
the Mexican Consulate for specific entry requirements.
Responsibility – The vacations advertised are
arranged by La
Ventana Rentals. The suppliers providing transportation,
tours, and accommodations for La Ventana Rentals are independent
contractors and are not agents or employees of La Ventana Rentals.
By utilizing the services of the suppliers, you agree that
neither La Ventana Rentals nor any of its representatives shall
be liable for any accident, loss, injury or damage to you or
to those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations,
transportation or other services or resulting directly or indirectly
from any occurrences or conditions beyond their control, including
defect in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, adverse weather
conditions, illness, accident, strikes, theft, delays, cancellations
or changes in itineraries or schedules, etc. Remember that
all travel documents and required personal identification,
as well as compliance with customs and immigration regulations,
is your responsibility. The terms under which you agree to
take a vacation cannot be changed or amended except in writing,
and must be signed by an authorized officer of La Ventana Rentals.
Limitation of Liability – By booking one of
these vacations, you acknowledge that in all events La Ventana
Rentals shall not be liable for any consequential damages
and that the sole extent of La
Ventana Rentals liability shall never exceed the amount
actually paid by you to La Ventana Rentals.
Venue in case of dispute – By booking a vacation
with La
Ventana Rentals you acknowledge and agree that the venue
for any dispute or claim that you may wish to make regarding
vacation arrangements made by La Ventana Rentals shall be made
in the country of Mexico.
